Designed, engineered, and built by Ford, this all-new diesel helps Super Duty® deliver up to an 18 percent improvement in fuel efficiency over the previous model, making it the best in its class*. It also gives you best-in-class 390 hp and 735 lb.-ft. of torque.
And even though this B20-capable engine is new to the lineup, it’s already proven itself in over 16 million kilometres of cumulative testing. It’s the most tested Power Stroke® diesel engine ever.

Aluminum cylinder heads with precision dual water jackets reduce weight and improve cooling
Class-exclusive inboard exhaust and outboard air induction architecture help reduce turbo lag
New common-rail fuel injection system, operating at nearly 30,000 psi, uses precise control to provide optimum power, efficiency and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) performance
Class-exclusive Single-sequential turbocharger uses the compact, efficient design of a dual-sided compressor wheel to help deliver maximum power quickly
Engine-exhaust braking provides increased engine braking at higher engine speeds
Exclusive Live-drive Power Take-Off (PTO) provision, available on the 6.7L diesel, is the only one in the class that uses an output gear linked directly to the engine crankshaft to power upfits anytime the engine’s running, whether you’re in motion or at a stop.
